The birdlife of Cambridge is under going great change at present as the effects of the built environment coupled with other effects that man is having on the habitats in which they live, alter the way that birds are able to access the resources they need to survive. We hope to record the make up of elements of the bird population in our expanding city.
The Cambridgeshire Bird Club promotes the study, recording and conservation of birds in Cambridgeshire and encourages a wider interest in natural history and the protection of county wildlife habitats. NatHistCam will work closely with them to benefit from their expertise and knowledge of the birds of Cambridge. For details of their activities see http://cambridgebirdclub.org.
The NatHistCam blogs include reports on surveys and sightings.
